Hello leaders and Navy Base outreach team,
I wanted to reach out to all of you and say thank you for your dedication, prayer, and hard work in serving God and DCC at the China Lake Navy Base. By the grace of God, we have now completed our first month of Chapel services on Wednesday evenings. I am so blessed by our leadership/usher team, worship/sound team, children’s ministry team and everyone that has been attending to support the vision. God has been bringing sailors and their families, officers, and DOD personnel. We are starting small, but the word is getting out. The highest levels of leadership, their wives, and children have visited our services, and we have their full support. Also, we have committed to a season of prayer and spiritual warfare along with a weekly 9:00 am prayer time on the base to see greater breakthrough. You all are invited!!
I would like to encourage you to keep praying and joining us as we meet each week at the chapel. You are so very vital to the success of this mission.
Over the next few weeks, I will be preaching on “Taking Your Place on the "Battleline" knowing that each member has a part to play in bringing many lives out of darkness into the victory we have in Christ.
To practically illustrate this at our meetings I would like to call each of you to take a place in the first three rows of the base chapel and at DCC when you attend, I would like to call this the “Battleline”. Each of you are the greatest witness to the life and love of God we have all received. As new people arrive may they see and experience a river that is alive and flowing, people singing, clapping, and being greeted by someone they would want to be like and grow in relationship with. I know everyone is present and praying at our meetings but often the first three of four rows of the chapel and DCC are mostly empty. Even if you come in late just march to the front and get your Bible and your amen out! Jesus said in John 7:38 “anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the scriptures declare, rivers of living water will flow from his heart.” So dear ones take your place on the "Battleline" with Linda and I and let’s move onto greater victories!
